Regulator Performance Framework Report
The Queensland Government's Regulator Performance Framework (the Framework) was introduced in May 2019 as a key element of the Better Regulation Strategy.
The Framework consists of 5 model practices with each accompanied by 3 supporting principles that are intended to balance the burden on regulated businesses while achieving policy objectives.
All Queensland Government agencies are required to report annually on how their regulations are implemented, administered and enforced.
Our Regulator Performance Framework Report 2023–24 demonstrates the implementation of the Framework.
