What's special
Talgai Weir is stocked by the Nobby and District Fishing Club Inc. The weir is stocked with golden perch, Murray cod and silver perch. In 2017/18 6,525 golden perch were stocked from SIPS permit sales. The weir joined SIPS in 2016 but has previously been stocked from other funding sources.
Location
Talgai Weir is located on the Condamine River about 10km north of Pratten. The weir is suitable for small vessels and paddle craft. There are no facilities at the weir. The nearby Talgai and Leyburn State Forests are suitable for bush walking and mountain bike riding.
