Fishing history
The fishing history policy applies to any decision, consideration or other dealing with authorities where the fishing history of an authority is a relevant factor.
Fisheries resource reallocation
The fisheries resource reallocation policy (PDF, 268KB) sets out the criteria that must be met for any proposal to reallocate access to fisheries resources from one sector to another.
Any entity proposing reallocation of fisheries resources must:
- demonstrate the benefits to the community
- supply sufficient information to demonstrate their case
- outline how compensation might be provided.
